Herd_of_Alcos

Here are some of my Alcos that I custom painted around 25 or so years ago. A few are missing, most likely in hidden staging tracks.

Way back when I started my layout, the most reasonably priced locomotives were Athearn. Atlas came out wit their series of Alcos in the 80\'s and after seeing how well they ran, I quickly built up my fleet.

The only Athearn locomotive I have bought since is one Genesis FP-y, mainly because it had a great paint job for the northern Pacific.
