The smoke makes me wonder what else might have been photoshopped in. Au naturale for me, no silicone.

If indeed the smoke is real, please, tell me how you did it!

I dunno

For me modelling is all about creating an illusion of reality. Photoshop is perfectly fair game for effects you cant get any other way (scale steam just doesn't look right to me). Photoshopping deficiencies in a model is not on though.

I am sure what we see here is just the effects.
 
I wonder why the smoke from the industrial stack goes right and the loco smoke leans left? Different politics?
 
Ther used to be something called “Dampf Build” for adding steam and smoke effects to photographs, before digital. Nice scene!
