current project. I started this a few years ago. It should become a earlier boxcar (wood) with a steel roof.
Still the cardboard roof on. It does not fit that good, despite all efforts and is a little wobbling. So replacing that with a styrene roof
The car might not that good but building it is fun. Later on I want to build more and finer with better dimensions. The beams should all have exact the same lenghts, and this is not the case with this project. One is never too old to learn! So I want to finish this one and build more in a better way. Having only a few photographs and a scale drawing one have to figure out a lot without seeing the real car. So its a little try and error.
