GM&O FA-2 P2K, first run. When acquired there were no FA-1's, which GM&O actually had, that were on the market at the time. So I made do with an FA-2 instead. Interesting note here. This loco was painted with actual GM&O Maroon lacquer. A friend in Mobile, Al had rented a small shed from the GM&O in 1968. The yardmaster said he could keep or throw away what was inside. Along with a "few" other treasures was a gallon of this lacquer. Several of us pro painters in the area used this paint when painting GM&O models for almost 30 yrs until the last was finally gone.
