Mike, I just noticed something that makes us brothers (sort of) you have an "Air Bridge" with the possibility of a "Second One" on the right! Well done Sir - very well done!! 😁

needless to say. I am very much looking forward to seeing enough track work down for you to test run a train or two - and am very keen to see your layout completed, it will be a fantastic layout and I dare say, very enjoyable to run either by yourself, or with a couple of mates over as well.

But seriously, this is going to be one heck of a layout Sir ... I truly am envious.
 


You could simply use several half relief structures or one long one and use that track as a load/unload track
I had that thought as well. I have purchased several printed industrial buildings that were glued to 1/4" foamboard from an Ebay vendor. They look really nice, especially if stacked.
