Looking good

I added a layer odf sculptamold to the area I started on yesterday and let it all somewhat dry out last night with a fan blowing on it. I have to help it along as sculptamold in my basement takes forever to air dry on its own.

This morning I added a few rocks and started blending everything together.

Hers how its coming along:

Wow! That looks really good, very convincing texture. I'm looking forward to seeing the next update.

Completed the final blending.

Pretty happy with this and now it looks ,ore like a mountain than a hill.

This is the part I enjoy the most. I Kind of didn't have a plan for this slope, so we shall see what it looks like and how to pull it all together.

If not, I have a hammer and more plaster cloth and we shall try again.

The more I look at it, I wish I would of shaved some of the casting down on the L/H side to get it over some more.
I m in the process of making a couple of castings to see if I can blend that blank area in the top left.

It does take a lot of time to see any real progress. I work at it around an hour a day maybe sometimes a little more.

This and running trains is by far my favorite part of this hobby!

Given how realistic it looks at this stage of construction, I can't wait to see it in the finished state.
