LOL. No one noticed a 1,000 long length of cable sgtrucg across the yard? What a bunch of maroons!

The Boston Globe put a followup on their web page. Because the management didn't tell which movies the workers were watching in their little hideaway (except
Rambo and a couple of porn flicks) the Globe made a list of possibilities:

Actually the best train scenes I can recall from any movie were in
Dr Zhivago , and they didn't list that. They only seem to have movies with railroad titles.
Sounds like a pretty sweet setup! Used to be a TV with a DVD player in the crew lounge of a chicago area intermodal facility that will remain nameless. Eventually they even got a DVD player! Great place to hang out while waiting for the yard guys to put your train together. Except when they were too busy watching TV to do their jobs and the road crews had to pick up the slack... And untill a big crackdown a couple years ago, it was almost standard practice to fire up the portable DVD player or laptop and watch movies once you were out of suburban territory. great way to pass the 12 hours stuck at a signal or running at 5mph. all you needed was a set of add-on speakers and a Locoverter to keep from draining your battery! now of course that is all fiction, i will deny any of it ever happened...
