Trees.. More Trees
Hers what i have so far, My simple logging layout. Two continuous loop systems with minimal switching "cause I'm lazy" Ha.. and I just like to go round an round. Most everything is scratch built as i cant find what i need in N-scale or its to darn expensive. 25' logging cars, barnhart and water/oil tanker scratch built. My turn table is a folgers coffee lid and so on and so forth, All comments welcome.....And i am working on a better camera so please be patient with the pics for now. Thank you

Wow, looks great!
Nice job on the turntable, never would have guessed it is what it was!

All my stumps and the one A-frame bridge is the cat tail fuzzy part after one year .Very scale bark appearance. Works great in Ho also. My father gets the credit for coming up with that Idea for our Ho stuff

Ah yes tootnkumin....I love our forests. This can and does get real depreesing watching and researching some of these areas for sure. The main Reason I love modeling this era is I love the geared steam locos. Shays, climaxes, hieslers and the few other odd balls. Also the loggers and crew were very ingenuous about figuring out their problems they encountered. I plan on planting around 400 more trees on this layout. And I still need to pick up a few shays.......Darn atlas.. ha

Wish we had skinny cat tails around here. Oh well if we did I couldn't get out to get them anyway. Very nice layout. I'm just starting my first.

Nice layout! I like your scenery work, the mountains and trees look really well done.

Beer an' whiskey....

Thank you all for the nice compliments, As we all know most layouts are always changing and never fully completed ha. I have quite a few bar-mills and other wood and stick structures to complete for this one, And trees.... more trees. Just wish I would have done a trestle or two here and their... Ah but theirs always the next layout.....Hhmmm

That's some really nice work. I used to be in N scale over 20 years ago, but with the old eyeballs not being as good as they used to, I don't think I could handle it any more.

I foudn a guy on Ebay that has a couple of really nice trestles. Here's a curved one.
