A 72' Con Cor coach for the Northern Pacific. It came with only one truck. Have just ordered a pair from Hiawatha Hobbies. Oddball king pin location. on both the trucks and the body.
These look brilliant! I have some kits of various other stuff from when I was in Tokyo, but none of trains. Did not know they made these kits for trains? Do they have any US stuff? Oh, please msg me a link!Taking my first baby steps into brass stuff. This is a fold up kit that requires no welding. It rides on a Kato 11-107 motor unit, so I know how it will perform.

They offer HO scale stuff, so may venture that way later.
Unfortunately, no. A stretch would be a boxcab since they were imported from the US.Do they have any US stuff?

Nice! I've got to get one of those someday.Found a Proto 1000 RDC-2 on fleabay. Cheap. Looks like I need to install interior lighting, tail lights and change the bulb to LED. Listed as NIB, so we'll see.

What if you just painted the inside of the "blocked" window a dark green, like a tinted window? Or maybe some shades? There are quite a few up for sale. I should have gotten an RDC-3 of this brand since the motor takes up half of the space and the RDC-3's baggage? space doesn't have windows. With the RDC-2, there is a little overlap, so will have to paint some of the motor cover to try to make it disappear a bit.
Thanks! Didn't think of that. From what I was able to find, it looks like 3 rows of seats and two windows. The light hardly extends into this area, so blinds may work. May have the blinds pulled partially down. I will be looking for pics of the interior to get an idea. What if you just painted the inside of the "blocked" window a dark green, like a tinted window? What scale is that?I woke up this morning, found out that Rapido's Manning Wardle locos had arrived, started looking around and saw that they were selling out already. Placed this guy on order before any of the reviews came out, so hope they are worth it. This guy is "as preserved". Gotta luv the topless design. If it doesn't have firebox flicker as it doesn't seem to have, I'll see if I can install one. It's got an E24 socket, so that's a bummer as I don't have any of those lying around and my fav dcc source doesn't make one.

Is there a Q steam on the horizon then? Some C.B.&Q decals for Zephyr passenger cars and also some for Q steam engines.
Well...this is referred to as a "Crocodile" not a boxcab, so definitely a drunk buyJust placed a Kato GE 6/6 on order. Wasn't really planning on it, but I guess this being a great expression of a boxcab... I wouldn't qualify this as a drunk buy, but working on it haha
