I asked for one of the Wiking ones too, but that mower will require removing an operator. I wish someone made a larger field mower, that would make for a better addition.
 


I went to the LHS today and picked up a B&O 50' boxcar.

My Trinity Railway (TRy.) Is still waiting for it's stimulus check! Hey Jim, Being that you have O man's attention give him a nudge my way PLEASE!;):p
 
First time posting pics,This is something i threw together for my kids....well....me .......too!
Just a simple oval,but the bench its on is a 16 foot dogbone and im planning on laying track soon!

Listen, you guys, keep that bridge to Nowhere quiet. The Feds don't know that the rest of town is serviced by a rope ladder. :) Besides, there's another road coming off the bridge, it's just ...secret...you can't see it yet. ;)

Quad, nice pics for your first attempt. Keep the date turned on in your camera. It will give you a good marker for the progress you've made next year at this time.

V&AL, nice shot. I guess we're all getting in the spirit a little late this year.

Drew, that's a very creative and evocative shot.

Jeffrey, you're going to need a bigger mobile home if your rolling stock inventory keeps expanding like this. :D
 
Some final shots of the Como fire house mounted on its base with the open bell tower which was located in the street in front. Building to the right was apparently a house which shows up in all of the photos. The "wet spots" under the legs of the tower are still damp glue mixture used to set the legs.

A few more details in the machine shop. The manager is in the office now where he was interrupted while typing. The large electric motor which powers the overhead belt system is now in place along with its control panel. Also the large shop cart has been wheeled in with a load of bridge shoes which are almost ready for the B&B crew. Also added another workbench with a large leg vise and another shelving unit.
