After much thought and exchanging emails with my Dad regarding Dry Stone Walls. I finally made a decision and splashed out the pricely sum of £2.40 for 3 lengths of cast stone walls. My Dad suggested a broken section so Ive incorporated that. Justneeds a bit more grass to hide the bottom edge of the wall. It did look a bit plasticky but a thin coat of matt black seems to have cured that

Nice work John. Any chance that you have modeled some hedgerows that Europe is so famous for?

The weekend is upon us - lets see your photos!

I was able to run some of my latest locomotive projects at my friend Don's house last night with Matt. Here's the best photos:

First, a little peek at the immensity of this layout.

A shot of my Alco switcher

I ran my newly completed auto train with an SD60 and U30C - the Walthers autoracks run really smooth.

Pair of high-noses

U-boats!

Another lineup

A couple recently completed boxcars

Nice "Rock" work. That weathering looks great. I really liked seeing the SD60 thrown in there.

Really like the SD70 and the overpass Josh. Is the truck bringing you your caffeine supply to keep the building of the layout going? :D

Please do not quote a photo unless it is to explain or ask a question. Duplication is not necessary and it makes for frustration to members on Dial up connections.
If there is a photo of someone else's you wish to discuss, then by all means a repeat photo might be wanted especially if the original is a couple pages back.
Posting a lengthy quote just to say nice work is a waste of bandwidth.
On behalf of the forum our thanks for your cooperation

How about a crowd pleaser?

These walking holidays are great, especially if you can stop and watch the trains go by !!!!

And it would appear the Climbing centre is building on its success with the addition of cycle hire !!!

It seems that the MW crew has been a little remiss in their brush clearing this fall.

Looks almost like prototype from low angles. Great Northern style snowshed on a friend's layout. Model is 9' long on a 72" radius curve.

I started the buildings for the Salvage Yard. This first one will be the main building.

This will be the outdoor rebuilding facility.

These 2 stands will go inside the outside rebuilding facility.

Here's a picture as it will appear once it's all done with.
