Mike, I assume you mean a flat car that has four trucks, two at each end. There really isn't a standard length because they are built for different purposes. The general class for 4 truck flat cars are the FM or FMS class. These can range from 62' long to 93' long depending on the type of load the car was built to carry. Some had flat steel decks and some have depressed center decks for tall loads. None of these cars are in common service on US railroads. Is there some particular car you're interested in? I can't give a better answer without knowing more about what railroad or comany owned the car and what load it was built to carry.

Thanks for your help!

Well, Im traying to built a TTX QTTX131041, whit four trucks, I've only found one photo of it, but more important its trying to understand how big it is.

Thanks again!!!

Mike, is it like this one?

It's a QTTX series 131 car. It's 66 feet long with a total load limit (car and load) of 240 tons. Walthers is producing a model of the car (http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/932-5641) which should be in stock next month.

Jim, funny part is the car Walther's made, and the one pictured are different cars. Look at the area above the outer trucks.

Josh, they didn't get the deck angle quite right at the ends but it's about the closest thing you'll get to a QTTX 131 series car in RTR.

Since I got the shelf up this week, I decided to take a picture with some stuff I got from some trades. So here is the future local freight for my layout... minus the layout.
