I've just completed my 1st layout and I'm ready to buy a controller. I'm sure I want to go with dcc but I'm not sure which controller. I have a double oval connected with 2 crossovers with a total of 60' of track. My original plan was to buy a digitrax zephyr begginer dcc controller. I came across this walthers trainset that comes with the controller and dcc ready engine. Its about $200. Is this a worthy controller for my layout and skill level or should I spend the extra money on the zephyr? I dont think I'll be expanding due to limited space. Thanks.

I have the Zephyr and it works well. So do many other people and for the reason its a good choice. I added a UT throttle so that two engines can be run at the same time.

The other well liked DCC controllers are from NCE.

I don't know any thing about the Walters controller so hope some one can post about it.
