Left the trains last night. Came back this morning and the system kept showing a short. I've finally traced it to one of the axles on one of the trucks. For the life of me I haven't been able to figure this out. Looking for suggestions.

If it's an Athearn clone axle, the two tub ands could be touching inside the gear, causing a short. Check to make sure the wheels are in gauge, and haven't gotten pushed together.
@bnsf971 I'll give that a try. It's a brand new one that I've been using for a while now.
Looks like you were right. Ohm meter shows that fixes it. We'll I guess at least I know how to disassemble it now.

Give it a run early this morning as I didn't have time after I reassembled it last night. Works great now.
