Via Rail in Rocky Mountains Question

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I am brand brand new to this. My goal is to build a layout based on modern Via Rail travel through the Rocky Mountains from Jasper to Vancouver. What is the design/paint of the most modern up to date Via Rail engine and cars. Any pics would be appreciated. Thanks

There is a great web site for Railway Photo's that is broken down to locomotive, regional, main stream, railroads etc. I "think" the site is something like www.rrpicturearchives.net or something like that. You will definitely find what you are looking for there.

Okay, just tried getting into that site and it doesn't seem to be working. Try this one:

http://www.railpictures.net/index.php

Click on New Search and you can select which Rail Road you want pictures of. Hope this helps.

If you go to VIA Rail's website there is a section called "our fleet" that has pics and specs on the locos and cars.
It's hard to find, just dig around and you'll find it.
Tony that website you put up.is a great place to find pics by the way!
