Made from a broken window blind rod. What do you think? Could this make a realistic load? If so should it be chained down or tied with cables? How much dunnage should I put under it?

Did not find anything on a rail car, drat. Dunnage abounds, though there does not appear to be a 'belly wrap'.
That give you something to play with?

@ctclibby. The blinds looked reasonable but I couldn't resist making a 3d printed version. 3 tapering 40' sections.
That load is a cell phone tower monopole.
