EDIT: You can ignore this question. I was down a rabbit hole but found my way out. I don't know where I ran across the idea of using concrete coloring powder. After doing some more research, found that a mix of plaster and tempera powder (zip texturing) will give me the effect I'm looking for. I would delete this thread but I don't find a way to do that.
Original post: Was considering using but have discovered it is basically iron oxides. Which are sometimes (maybe usually) magnetic. Yet I see some weathering powders are also iron oxide based. Wouldn't that be a concern around locomotives?
Concrete coloring powder is cheap, but should it be avoided for the reason it is (possibly) magnetic?
