The project is coming together nicely, it’s a good idea doing it on a foam board.

Unfortunately foam warps like wood…this particular piece has a crown in the center. I am going to have to frame a base of 1x4 and glue the foam to it.

The center posts and right wall posts are not glued in place. Waiting for track. Once in, I will glue the walls together and install the posts. Just some photos showing how it will look.

Nice job so far. As much as i like roundhouses and turntables, mine is nowhere near this complete. Whas size locomotive power can you fit in it?

The HO model locomotive pictured below is approximately 13 inches in length. Any longer and the locomotive would be cramped.

You’re doing a fantastic job , I had a round house a few layouts back and eventually decided I could make better use of the area with a 2 stall engine house.

This particular roundhouse was made for a 130 ft turntable so I have to get one of those now. I really don’t feel like spending 300 dollars.
