I am looking to purchase an HO 120' turntable for my railroad but am concerned at the number of problems modelers seem to have with some of the popular brands such as Walthers, Fleischmann and Antons (an Australian brand). Are these just one off issues to a particular purchase or are they common to all purchases of that brand.
you mean the 130' turntable ??
what problems in particular are you referring too?
I have the 90 TT with digitized indexing. It only dropped all the settings once, about a year ago. Other than that, it's very reliable and is a point of interest to operators during an op session.
Thank you for the question. Before outlaying $A500 plus for a unit I went on line to see what units were available (would prefer an Australian NSWGR look alike - Sellers type - as I am modelling New South Wales 50/60s), that is when I came across the various posts others had made questioning issues they had with their particular model. This would indicate that it may be the luck of thr draw and the problems experienced were random and one off - can happen with anything you purshase.
