I recently purchased an Athearn Genisis SD60E First Responders locomotive #911. Done the usual, changed address and messed with the volume a little, I mean, I want to hear it, but not deafened by it.
Changed the Master Volume, and wrote it to the decoder, that was fine. Opened the throttle on JMRI for the loco and no sound, I could faintly hear the Horn and Bell, but no prime mover.
Went back into JMRI programming and read the Sound Level tab again. Master volume was at 0, changed it again, wrote it, went back to the throttle, still no sound, back to the Sound tab, master volume at 0 again ??
I can get sound on my test track, but as soon as I go to the JMRI throttle and switch it "on", the sound shuts off, and Master Volume goes back to 0.
Am I doing something wrong or is this simply a quirk Tsunami2 decoders and JMRI have.
Any advice would be appreciated.
