Made a little progress tonight. I painted the cab and frame with Tamiya Red and painted the tires NATO Black for a cleaner look and added some photo ech mirrors and grab handles. More tomorrow

That is a great model, and it is looking good!
Thanks Louis I appreciate it
Nice job on a very handsome truck. B-series Macks, R-series Internationals and early 50s GMC COEs are my favorite trucks.
Dale thanks for the compliment. Mostly I like all Mack’s there my favorites guess because I grew up around them when dad drove and I’ve drove more Mack’s than any other trucks from B Models to CHU613 Mack’s. Glad you stopped by.

More work done to the Mack. I’m using a Athearn RTR interior I painted it close to Mack interior green as possible. I also added 5 speed stick and a triplex stick made from small wire and dab some super glue on the ends of the wires for shifting knobs. Then made some small dots for gauges.

Lee you made me laugh when you mentioned driving the B models, I can still feel my knees bruising on that damn knuckle ball on the steering column!
Not to mention my head hitting the roof and knuckles cracking into the glass, and elbows crashing into the rear wall shifting! 😂

Yeah they were something I drove a friend's B61 shuttling 40’ storage trailers across town hauling unbuilt boxes to Little Tykes plant. My dad drove lots of these old Mack’s he was telling me how to shift the Triplex but he didn’t tell me about the blisters I would get in the palm of my hands 😂 from shifting so much. I had a blast that week back in 1993.
