I have brought this up in one of my other post, but I just wanted to re-recommend this Thomas fan who puts a whole new spin on the show. 
The way things plot out is close to what the books were wrote like...But just put in a serious matter. They sound like a group of men arguing.
I should say if you don't like loud humor, then you may not like it. But I would say check it out! Just, probly not while the kids are around...
