It's sorta color coded. Black is the back rail common. White is the forward rail power. Ribbon in the signal wires. Black 6 wire is loconet.

I needed a crossover from the mainline to get into the main classification yard while running east on the mainline. Also, this crossover provides direct access to an industrial area with several customers.
