> I'd refuse to accept that as interchange traffic.

I'm not sure "rusty" counts as a defect barring interchange...

Besides, as long as they pay you to haul it...

Ive seen just as bad if not worse going through this area. I also note that seems what the shortlines are buying up also, to finish their life in local revenue service. :D

Hey Mabel, a moose please

Sell anything yet?

First link is dead, btw. At least it is for me

jbakko is so demotivated that he can't even spell http://www.demotivated.net correctly. I thought he was aiming for http://www.despair.com/ though - a very funny site.

Oh well, he's only one of Uncle Sam's Mindless Children... :)

Incidentally, my father-in-law came over and between the two of us we completely primered the railroad room. Now I can go buy paint.... "sky" blue and white.

Morning all, Sabrina I'll have a cup of coffee please.
Getting ready to go to the hospital, my wife is going to have outpatient surgery this morning, hope this won't take all day, she's already been through enough.
Maybe I can finish the train room this weekend, so I can start on my N scale empire.
[ That is if everything go's OK ]
Everyone have a great day.

Stan.

Sabrina, I need an extra-large cup o' joe for the long drive I'll be making up to western PA this morning.

Stan, best of luck on Cathy's outpatient visit, hope it's "uneventful" like you were saying...I'll keep you both in my prayers.

Jeff, glad to hear you're making progress on your train room. Unfortunately mine is surrounded by wall shelves, inundated with family junk [none of it owned by me of course!] so I couldn't do the pre-treatment of the walls.

As I mentioned above, I'm driving my teenage daughter to PA to spend the weekend with some friends in that area. After I drop Sarah off I plan to visit with Chip, so at least that gives me something to look forward to!

Congrats on the grandson! I bet he'll be a train nut, I don't see how he could turn out any different. ;)

Speaking of train nut grandsons, my 3 year old grandson is also a train nut.

At 2 he slept with his Brio train at night and would holler if anyone took it from him. I could put in a train video and at 2 he would sit through the whole video and not move a muscle!

Now that he's 3 and a half, I'm known as "Grandpa trains" and his first words to me when he comes to visit is "Grandpa, can I drive the trains?" :D

Joe,

I wonder if he remembers my letting him run my W&P engine back and forth in Roseburg Yard... And he's definitely a train nut from the word go.

I'll take a LARGE ginger root beer today waiter,
And another train nut is my daughter Gemma (almost 2) she goes wild when she see's a train and laugh's like mad with excitement, my other two kids Robert 6 and Matthew 3 are also train mad. There school head master says it's great that they have proper boys hobby's, not like most of the other kids who sit in front of the TV or playstation all night, we got a playstation on a trial run but they didn't like it so we gave it back, much to the amazement of it's owner. i'm of to an early night after all the logging from today, it takes it out of you climbing up and down all day with a heavy saw in hand,, later folks

Misguided... Yeah I can't speel with ****, not to mention today, my face hurts, slightly sunburnt! Up tomorrow, night show day, working 7AM-10PM!!! SD area members, SHOW UP, use the gate right below the Tower (tallest building on the base), and you might see me standing in the little white fenced in area to the right, after the gate... If you don't see me, I'm either inside, or driving a rental car somewhere.

Anyways, talk to you all sunday night, if I feel like it!

That reminds me of how I was when I was 3. I was addicted to Pentrex videos and I had an extensive Brio empire (I even used to try replicating well known railfanning locations such as Horseshoe Curve).

It won't be long before you hear him ask you "Grandpa, can I put a UP patch on your SD40T-2?", that's if he ends up being a UP fan. :p
