ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.
I was out sailing with some freinds in their 35 foot sailboat. We pulled up alongside a Basking Shark. It was longer than the boat. We knew it had no teeth. Still looked scary.
Sure to us, but to other sharks? I can see the Great Whites over around the edge of the coral, snickering at them, calling them gummy bears, and handing then yogurt to eat. I think I may have to join some forum that will help these poor gummers.
talking sharks my son Robert was given a 65 million year old shark tooth by a friend who collects fossils, it's as sharp as hell, and two inches long i would not have liked to meet it's owner
Sabrina, I don't know what these other guys are drinking, but I'd like a Coke, no ice please.
I had to go hide from The Husband while he cuts roofing pieces for my Hotel. To paraphrase a saying, "Together for better or worse, but not for model-building." He doesn't trust me with full-size power tools (rightly so), and doesn't appreciate kibbitzing, either.

you mean Communal Living somthing like hippies had back aways, 70's I think, called it a commune. Most likely based on the same idea but upgraded to today's world. Considering the area it could be for mutual defense. OH! well I have two words now
Just stopping in. This coffee shop thing sounds like a fun idea!
Haven't posted here in a while, not much to talk about as far as model railroading goes (Though I did manage to get some DeLuxe Innovations SP 48' containers from the LHS recently) but I am still a frequent poster on RRF.
I'm not a member of the trains.com forums, but I did hear about the Model Railroader forum closure and I figured more members would come here.
Wow! I am really late getting over here to get a cup. Danged ole Cable went out again. We have had a lot of trouble with it since the very first hurricane.
Grandeman: Cjcrescent probably took his hat off when he saw the cougar. That's what ran it off! Amost contacted you to come up this weekend, but I got assigned a project. The boss lady is working a double tomorrow and U of Bama is not playing this weekend. It would have been perfect. Soon though!
A big welcome Austin. Just talk about anything and everything, Ha!
Dangit Rex!! Back in them days I actually had Hair!!!! And I don't mean the musical either!!
Eric, I wished I had a gun that day.But Game Warden frowns on firearms in boats in the Upper Delta. Its alright in the lower Delta where there's not many trees, and a whole lot o' ducks. The Upper Delta has many, many overhanging limbs and trees since the rivers are not as big as the Lower Delta. Many a time someone's taken a gun and blown a hole in the bottom of their boat where one of the local snakes came off the branches/trees into the boat. The GW decided the best thing was to ban the guns rather than pulling someone who's drown out of the water because they sank their own boat trying to kill a snake that may or maynot be venomous. (Most of the time, the boaters are so scared they miss the snake anyway!)
