I think CJ got so excited about the fishing he had to launch his boat today.

Ya better believe it Rex!:D Had a good day too. Jim McCravy one of the ARG members and I went down to Lay Lake yesterday when he got off. On his third cast, he landed a 4 lb Largemouth. :D A couple of casts later, I landed one just a little smaller!:p First fish I've caught since Oct 2004! (Only been a couple of times since then, all within the past few weeks). I over the course of the next few hours had one break my line, and landed another one, way smaller than the first. Jim and I decided it was just about time to leave, when I caught one about 5 lbs.:D Then Jim turned around and landed a 7 lb monster:eek::eek:. Tally for the day was Jim 2 real quality fish, and me 3, one of which, not that big. I got him in numbers but he had the quality! Given that we both have been real rusty when it's come to catching largemouth bass, a very good day for both of us.:D

FergieHappy new engine and caboose
Carey way to go Carey, so you finally got the bass coming back on the boat, nice one.
Ken M come and sit down for a while Ken, fancy a nice hot tea.

We had a BABOON on the car today, it was squatting on the wing mirror giving me the evil eye, those things have very big teath close up. We went to the local Safari park at Knowsley near Liverpool, what a laugh, the baboons tore off several wiper arms, wing mirrors and assorted body trim parts off other peoples auto's,,, thankfully not mine, mind you an ostrich had a go at the other wing mirror. We saw a fancy BMW come out in a right mess, he tried to get the baboons off it by flicking on the wipers, much to the little buggers delight who thought it was a game of kill the car, it had crap and scratches all over it after about 15 boboons joined in the jollies. Apart from monkeys they have Tigers, Lion's, Elephant, White Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildabeest, Antelope, Wild dog's and allsorts of other animals, the only animals kept behind fences are the Tiger and Elephant, with lion and Rhino loose by the roadside in there seperate enclosures of course, the lion will ocasionally chew on an auto so they tell you to keep moving, but if some silly sod up front stops everyone stops and the lion get curious, Mmmm Tasty

Hello all, hope you didn't over indulge on chocolate, Bill's got us some more cakes.
Ken Lhope you enjoyed the trip out for "Deserts"

Hi gang,

This is my first opportunity to post here since the holiday weekend. I spent [almost] the whole day Saturday finishing the ballasting of my 'exposed' main line tracks - I got on a roll and didn't want to stop! Came out much better than the first stretch I had been working on last week...

Steve - that baboon photo is priceless, it's a major candidate for being clipped and pasted onto a train-oriented picture...!:D And about the chocolate - I stayed away from it during the cross-county travels, so I could keep stable-minded enough to endure the noise of my kids' fighting with each other (happens on those long car rides).

Fergie - Enjoyed our chat on Easter morning! Your experience with the gift train reminds me exactly why I always tell Vicky and other well-meaning family members: Never get me trains for Christmas/Birthday/etc., unless you see it written on a "wish list" [complete with catalog stock#]..!

Bill T. - I'm proud of ya, I knew you could do it [share a little more about yourself with us than just a box of doughnuts]!:D

Hope the rest of you had a great Easter holiday, I gotta run...C-ya!

Well Bill T I would be looking forward to that myself but I have about 14 to 19 years to go depends if I want to go to 70 or not .

I'm still doing fine Or I feel that I'am but we never know so time will tell heck my boss is 95 and still going strong.

I don't even think Walthers has it listed:o

Well just when things are look'n good you realize something is amiss/aMESS. Had to move the Coaling Tower 2" as it was being clipped by the larger locos going to the TT:( Hopefully this will work out!

Later All
