Trying the Styrene method, nothing's fixed as yet, but the results look good so far.

I've ordered a couple of sheets of 10 and 20thou styrene, this is definitely the simpler and cleaner method to level out these two tracks.

That level looks like a very handy tool to have. I've never seen one before.
Cheap ones are about $10 on Amazon, mine was about $16. 4-sided magnets as well a great addition to my toolbox, much better than the bubble type

I've sent mine to my buddy in Germany and bought a more versatile version with a laser.

Quick update: I've had to keep the level I was going to send to my buddy. The new version I bought had a cracked face, so I sent it back for a replacement.

The styrene solution seems to be working. Although it's a little fiddly for my fat fingers, it's a definite improvement.

This end still needs some work, the tracks themselves are less that 0.2, however the offset between both tracks is obviously more, ideally I'd like to have it at or less than 0.2.
