I know what you were talking about mate - just thought I'd throw in some humor. I more or less agree with you though - making it up as you go isn't that bad :)

After the few days/nights you have had recently, I don't doubt you need some sleep.

Think I'll call it a night, I was going to check the tracking on the package you sent, but my brains so addled at the minute, I can't remember where you mentioned it, and dipstick here forgot to write it down, never mind, I'll look tomorrow when I get home.

Night Mate.

Did a bit or Track Weathering - about 2' all up of 1 rail :)

Going by the real deal outside, I don't think it turned out too bad ???

Thanks Mike that is very much appreciated.

I kind of hope that what gets added makes it a bit better, a bit more life like and realistic. I guess what I aim for is to create something that is believable, that you might come across and see some where. Not sure if I achieve that or not but that is the idea anyway :)

Have you ever gotten into a situation where you want to do something, need to do something but don't know what to do? Or just can't be bothered doing that something? That's where I am now - looking at the layout and seeing all the things that I need to do but can't be bothered doing any of them - just seems like too much effort :(

That's why is called a hobby, you do as you feel, if you're not in the mood, your not in the mood. Your layouts not exactly going to walk out the door on you if you don't do anything on it, is it ?

Been there. Still there. Who cares? If I have time and inclination the list of things to do will be attended to.

Until I get time and inclination I run trains. :D

Think I just did too much too quickly to begin with and am now keen to get it finished so I can see how it is going to look :)

Anyway - this is how it all looks at the moment:

Guess I will just keep plodding along with the "To Do List", which is:

1. Finish the plastering for the terrain
2. Paint the plaster for the terrain
3. Apply basic ground cover
4. Install the final 2 sets of Drop Feeders
5. Connect the Drop Feeders to the track
6. Continue Weathering the Track
7. Continue Ballasting
8. Finish installing and wiring the Street Lights
9. Light the Buildings (maybe - at least the Station)
10.Work on the landscaping - under growth, bushes, trees etc

I know I may have made this look like, or sound like, work BUT it isn't - it is ALL fun well except maybe the feeders :) Just wanted to show what I had left to do, and that doesn't include the Signals or the HELIX!!!! 😅 😅 😅
