The fence is done:

Fortunately for me only half the people that live in the town are morons so I figured I only needed to fence half the lake access ... :D

The other half will be done when my back stops hurting :)

Terrific, because I only did half the fencing the MORONS complained that I was discriminating against them and threatened to sue me if I didn't do something to prevent their stupidity !!! Seriously, can you believe that ???????

So, here is your damn fence morons!

Your making good progress on your fence building! When you master it, I will have several hundred feet that you can build for me!😜

I have given up on putting the "mesh stuff" on, I don't know what is happening but can't get it to stick to the brass. Personally, I think the brass is just too thin for the CA to get a grip onto. It seems to stick it real well to styrene though

Anyway, I am going to pretend that the brass is wood and that the fence is going to be something other than a metal chain mesh type :)
Are you against using styrene?

Not really against it but .04 styrene I think would be too flimsy, if you can even get it that small :)
There was a video i linked on your original chain link fence thread of someone who made the frame from styrene. Once you had the frame all glued together it looked to be rather sturdy.

It would solve your problem of the tule sticking to the brass. Though it could create just a different set of frustrations.

I think the video is from Boomer Dioramas if i recall correctly. He also does excellent weathering.

So after retrieving my MRC (don't ask) and locating some new Pads for My CMX - I filled the car with Mineral Spirits and gave the track work a test AND a clean - and just to prove it all works - here it is:

Not bad considering there is only one set of feeders providing power to it all :)

I sometimes wonder if we add too many feeders to the track, doubly so if the track joins are soldered.
It's not a criticism, just a observation, and I'm just as guilty for doing that. :)
