I picked up a couple of the new Walther's chrome plated Super Liners and really like the finish. I have a few undec Budd cars that I would like to paint/plate to match. What are the steps and products needed to get the plated look?

You'll need to start with undecs or completely stripped cars and paint with Alclad. You can do a google search, they have a website. You have to paint the cars gloss black first, then paint alclad over the black. It works really well. For anyone who saw the first plated Walthers cars in their booth at a hobby show...that wasn't plating, it was Alclad! Their test shots were late!
