Looks like a nice layout. I'd visit, but its a long way from NJ.

In 1971, my Dad took us to the 'Old Time Fiddler's Convention,' in Galax, VA. After it ended, we drove down to Winston Salem, to explore some. We ate at a McDonalds, with the train line right behind it, as I recall. As we were pulling out of the driveway, a diesel pulled up, and the crew got out to eat. We've talked about it many times since then.

All the best with your show!

Hi Ed, I saw your layout way back in the 90s when I used to visit the beautiful Winston-Salem area. The time I was there, a train show was held at the Spencer Shops.

You were at Spencer Shops in the 90's? You need to pay another visit. Its changed a lot. The Southbound Model Railroaders has changed a lot too. Email us & we can open up for a visit anytime.
