I just signed up for online audio books from our library. All though, I am not listening to this right now (audio book); I have tried reading it at least 3 if not more times. I noticed that the audio book in available for free to listen to...BUT; since I have tried to read to this book at maybe 4 times; but couldn't, it's like an itch that you can't reach. Am I the only one that has not been able to complete James Joyce's "Ulysses"? A friend recommended "Atlas Shrugged" to me several years (maybe 40) ago. I read it word for word and hated it, it was the most boring book I have ever read, My favorite authors are James Clavell and Louis Lamour. I have read all of the Lamour (over 100 books) at least once. My most favorite is Shogun by Clavell. I have read that book MANY times. Tried to find the Warriors; but I guess they only made the Coney Island gang movie without a book.

So, long story short has anyone ever tackled Ulysses all the way through?

In 1990, my ship pulled in to Geraldton, Australia, alone, while the USS Midway battle group went to Perth. Unfortunately for us, Perth was only 90 miles away, so all the girls went there. All we had was a bunch of guys that wanted to party and drink, which was fine. At a party that the city hosted, when this song came up, everybody shut up and started singing.

My mother was born on the Goingsnake Indian Reservation before Oklahoma was a state. Goingsnake later became part of Stillwater. The Cherokee Nation of my Grandmother was settled there and Flint was to the south. My grandmother's name translates to Bunny. This song is for her and my lost relatives
