You guys are striking close to home. Back in the day, saw ARS at Chicago Fest and Aliotta, Haynes and Jeremiah a couple of times. Good times back in the 70's in Chicago.

Sounds like Spyrogyra, in hotel lobby in Cleveland. Near end of bike trip. I saw CVSR train yesterday with the FA, but couldn’t get a picture.

Adopted Super Chicken as my avatar and 'you knew the job was dangerous when you took it' as my tag line when I found myself as a quality control analysis for Options clearing processing.

Dawn has Serenade Radio playing. The music varies from the 1920s to 1970s (mainly).
They played 'So Tired' by Russ Morgan. Apparently it is a 'love song'. The first line goes 'So Tired of waiting for you.'
When I was around four years of age, before I went to bed, I would ask my grandmother to play the song on the record player.
I would hear, 'So tired of waiting for you,' and I would be fast asleep. Grandmother then had the 'pleasure of carrying me to bed'.

Why the song? I was waiting for my father to come home from the Army. It was a long wait. (Even longer for my grandmother as her three sons were 'somewhere in the world')

Sounds like Spyrogyra
Saw them at the Strand in Key West, FL back in 86-ish. I think the Strand went belly up right after that, unfortunately. It was a strange concert as they only played 2 songs. There must've been something going on in the background...

Anything by Doug Kershaw. I had all his albums and saw he in concert. Can't help stamping my foot to his songs...................................................................................................https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubSCPBkTyWY

Also saw Doug Kershaw one year at Chicago Fest. He was playing at a side stage when Alice Cooper's show finished and the crowd wandered over and went nuts for Doug. He appeared to be stunned by the crowds reaction to him. Never knew he could crank it out the way he did that night.

Doug Kershaw brings back a few memories. I saw him occasionally because he used to open for bands in the Dallas/Ft Worth area in the late 60's and early 70's since it was near his home state of Louisiana at the time. The most memorable was when he opened for The Rolling Stones in a small auditorium in Ft Worth on their 1978 Some Girls tour. Show was announced only a couple of days beforehand and there were only 3000 tickets available. The tickets were for "The London Green Shoed Cowboys" to keep the ticket people from leaking information. It turned out that the concert was filmed and released much later in 2011. Doug did a couple of songs with them during the encore besides opening the show.

I did not know that. Doug had a style of his own...you loved his music or hated it...I love it
