Our club is building a new HO layout and we are building structures to put on the layout.
I am going to describe the steps used to build this kit.
Take a look at the instructions, they will show you where the parts go and you may even learn something.
Examine the parts for defects and wash in warm soapy water to remove any mold release.
I like to paint all plastic parts and painting while on the sprue means less handling; less body oils and smeared paint.
I used water based craft paints and let the paint dry for 24 hours.
Scrape any paint from glue surfaces and glue pieces together.
Test fit parts like floors, windows or doors before gluing up.
I used ACC on this project, but liquid styrene glue or craft (Alenes type) glue will work, too.
Before final assembly, think about any details that will make your model unique. Glue doors or windows in an open position, add climbing vines or weeds and consider heavy or light weathering.
