Canadian speed signal indications

Since he is in Montana and has a picture of a BNSF engine in his avatar, I went with US signalling. Canadian may well be different, but if he is modeling a US line then Canadian rules would be moot, he should be looking at the GCOR for a modern road, and the BNSF if that's who he is modeling.

Ya, guess that I should have said something....In Libby, MT on the BNSF hi-line although railroads from my youth are the plan - GN, NP, SP&S with most of the players in the Spokane, WA area 1970ish - MILW, UP, SI and others. Alas, UP not so much as I got kicked out of a parking lot in the late 70's for pretty much no reason. Wasn't even a long hair at that time. So UP = PU?

1970ish would be Consolidated Code of Operating rules (CCOR), fortunately a pretty common rule book on E-Bay and other places that sell rule books. There was a 1959 edition with a reddish brown cover and a 1980 edition with a blue cover. It was used by : MILW, DSSA, GN, MSTL, MNS, SOO, NP, SI, SPS, UP. The CCOR roads used route signals with diverging aspects.
