Here's a couple of 'beese that ride the rails on the LC&P....
The first is a drover caboose kit with interior lights, and the second is a "bashed" kit which I turned into a MOW, so as not to have duplicate models of cabeese....
You do NOT wanna see my caboose. Not exactly narrow gauge, LOL.
(Humming a parody song the title of which I can't put here, but goes to the tune of 'Aquarius' by the 5th Dimension.)
M&WV 701 is the first of her class and the last still in service. She is only used with steam locos, and never doubleheaded steam as the pulling power might yank the old girl off the frame, even though she was refitted with a steel frame in 1939. M&WV went to steel cabooses in 1946, as the war was over and steel was again available. The WM ordered 4 NE cabooses for us and they were delivered in early 1947. There are currently no known photos of them.
(Modelwise, the 701 is a REVELL caboose. Collectors, please don't shoot me. I have two or three others which I will eventually repaint. Revell made a tremendous product for its time and Kadee couplers fit the coupler boxes without modification. Even more cool? They make a trainmaster's shed kit using the body (Con-Cor now I believe) so you don't have to hunt down an old Revell caboose to do it.)
Actually yes it is. They sent it out without prepping so it had to go back to be purged.
While on route someone stole one of the marker lights... damn railfans!
Here's a pic of the door that you were looking for, and yup that's Manny behind it with pen and paper in hand and grinning from ear to ear!
