Should I build it?

That came out really nice. Remember a little often is a lot. If I gave you the kit, I would have expected you to build it. If you didn't I would think you didn't care for it.

Agreed. Now that it is complete, I'm very happy that I did it. And it will go very well in the layout!

That turned out great! Well done.

D.A.

Thanks! I'm typically nervous about posting this kind of stuff since I don't have near the experience that most guys here do.

buetiful job on that building bklyn. I cant wait to do some more buildings I will be ordering the New river coal mine soon and that looks like a good build.

I will have a coal mine on the top of my layout too. I haven't even began designing the area yet, just have a rough clue of where it is going. It will be a smaller mine, so space shouldn't be a concern (I say that now). I'll be watching out for yours!

Looks great! Glad to see another Columbus Ohio guy on board!

Wow! Another Columbus guy!? Where in? I've heard of a club in Worthington near the Ohio RR Museum, but haven't made the trip yet. You know anything about it? I've visited the club at the fairgrounds, but they're hours are pretty tough for a working guy like me. Most of them are retired, so the hours are quite different than the youngens!

I'm in Clintonville. I hear you on the slow progress. It's been 2.5 years and I still can't run trains lol! http://www.modelrailroadforums.com/forum/showthread.php?26532-North-Fork&highlight=North+fork

bklynnman,

You did a great job on that model and I too am glad that you built it; although, either way it would still have been a memory of your friend.
