Dang, there's something blinding outside up in the sky. Not sure what it is, may be an ancient alien? UFO? Haven't seen it in a while. Gladly, I remembered to turn the automatic watering device on for tomorrow.
Well, just took a look at the guess and it might rain tomorrow. I'll leave the water on, just in case they are 100% correct in being 100% wrong.

Book cover update.
I've redesigned 10 out 11 main books in the series. Here are a couple of favorites:
I've updated the covers on about half the retail sites. But being the weekend, they're slow to process them on google-play.
Tomorrow, one more main book and one stand alone "reader magnet" novella to redesign. The only way to get the "reader magnet" is to sign up for my newsletter via email.

Hasn't been a pleasant evening here. Four of my wife's fantasy football players are out with injuries so far! Of course it's my fault even though I have nothing to do with fantasy football. Sigh!!!

Congratulations, you're a husband. Good day at Church, but one of the ladies there is losing her husband. Hospice says only a day or two left, so I went with Pastor over this afternoon to pray with her. At least he is on morphine, so he isn't in pain. Car is 90 % loaded for the trip to the airport. We're leaving a little before 3AM, yuck. So we're taking it easy and will try to sleep early.

It’s already 54f degrees and heading to 46!
We went for a horse ride before noon something Terry misses but she getting somewhat used to it. Stopped at a place I had the surveyor in June mark out before we sold the last house. Overlooking the wetlands but far enough away that the mosquitos shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe a mile from the daughter across the County Rd in front of her place and smack dab in the middle of our remaining property. I asked what she thought and she loved it but like me is not sure what we should do. The son and his girlfriend were with us and he liked it but was wondering why we were even thinking about building again. Couldn’t give him an answer to that. Boredom maybe. I have given her a few choices including but reluctantly Maui that thankfully she said immediately no to.
My brother called this evening after the Packer meltdown! Said we are welcome to join him and his girlfriend in Amafi, Italy but told him no but thanks.
The grandson’s Fall soccer started yesterday. They won 4-2 and 6-3 on Saturday with the g/s scoring twice in each game. Then this morning in 52f degrees per the SIL he scored 3 times in the 1st 1/2 of a 11-4 game they won. All away games that we generally do not go to.
Badger volley ball lost to Texas. The packers literally beat themselves against the Vikings

Back from the doc. Talked about pain meds and went through the history. Pregabalin, gabapentin, celebrex, tramadol, oxycodone, hydrocodone, moebic (don't remember taking it before I received it this past time), cymbalta, effexor, back and forth, some getting reissued, etc. Back on pregabalin. He said I can play with the dosage as I need with a max of 200mg/day. Took the first pill just now and will see how it goes. He said that I can also play with the timing, so that I don't have to deal with any sleepiness, if any. I told him good thing I'm retired! He didn't find that funny... No sense of humor!!
When he told me I should wear a brace to stabilize my left wrist, I asked if something like what bowlers use to keep their wrist straight, he told me he didn't know any bowlers.
He looked like he was still in high school.

Our current Sunday schedule is noon to 2pm. Today after church I came home and changed and drive with my mom up to Evanston Wyoming, to my sister’s house. We had supper and talked some and then went to the real occasion , which was my niece’s oldest daughter’s birthday. She turned 7. (My sister’s granddaughter). They also live in Evanston.
It was a nice drive up the canyon and through the tops of the mountains to Evanston. We saw some sections where there was foliage coloring that had started.
My wife stayed home as our son was coming up from Provo to get some Tupperware full of fried rice for his lunches this week and to return some Tupperware from an earlier trip n he said yesterday he also wanted help with one of his computer classes but I told him last night I was going to be gone so we did it over FaceTime last night. The wife also stayed home as our daughter had an afternoon appointment and the wife wanted to be here when she was done. (I went with to Evanston as my mom is 85 and while she still drive’s well she has started to have macular degeneration in one eye and I think her reflexes are slowing down some. And she doesn’t need to drive 90 miles up a canyon at 65-75mph and then come home down the canyon in the dark).
Anyway, my sister’s husband started an ice cream shop a year or two ago and earlier this year was able to move into his own place. The ice cream shop was inside a cafe owned by someone else. He’s expanded past ice cream and is now a family restaurant and ice cream place. I hadn’t seen his new place before so we stopped by and got a tour.
Evanston has some Union Pacific facilities in it and the railroad is part of Evanston history. He’s putting some railroad related paintings and photographs on the wall.
But what I found interesting were the kiddie high chairs. They were normal light brown stained but they redid them to provide some atmosphere. They were stained and painted.

I got mine from Walmart. (don't tell Amazon but Walmart was half the price) I use them for carpal tunnel and they do work, a little bit. Don't expect miracles, somethings we just have to live with. As Karl's dad so brilliantly put it "getting old aint for sissys!"

Good evening gentlemen. It's been a while. Modeling is waiting for colder months. Meanwhile other projects are pending. I'm in Poland currently for my second yearly vacation and it's been eight years since i was in my childhood area. But right before the trip to Poland, i managed to slide this into my driveway:
A 1987 VW Vanagon, stick shift, which is very rare in the USA. Bus is not driveable currently due to leaking fuel tank and few other small details. All doable before the winter hits.
Packing the car to drive up to my dad since we both went together...and this creature took over my car, she must have known:
Before i went to my dads house, i stopped over i Steamtown to make my eyes happy before the flight;
The only working ALCo PA in the country. Nex, Big Boy needs no introduction:

At EWR with our A350-900 just pulling in from it's flight:
Two hours later after check, we were on board -late. When we landed in Munchen, due to long passport check, we were late for our flight to Wrocław...as were hundreds of other passengers. We wound up on a flight to Frankfurt with another change of plane to Wrocław after over 5 hour wait.
So instead of getting to Poland after noon, we got there close to 10pm We barely made it to our car rental. We finally pulled up to our family in Poland at 2am. A few pictures from our roaming in the land of Poland:
