Since Labor Day, in addition to Joe Nameth, and William Shatner pitching "free" medicare Part C Plans, and Trial Lawyers selling their services for any slight hurt, we are inundated with political advertising. Three states worth and It's always the same message, the other person is so wrong on everything, targeted to the extreme ends of the spectrum. This make me wish for the election to be over.

Last night the Baltimore Orioles beat Boston 14-8, in a game delayed by weather. That gave them 80 wins for the season. One more win and they are guaranteed a .500 season. Two more wins, a winning season. Last year on the same date, their record was 52 wins and 110 losses. Go O's Go!

Currently, it's 67° going to 75°. This mornings low was 52°. It will be pleasant and sunny. :) There is a 40% chance of rain, Saturday night through Monday Night.

Would 4935+4900 constitute a GG2? Just asking....

Outstanding weathering on those hoppers TomO.

Gotta get things goin this morning. I have a septic tank service coming Friday morning for my mandatory septic tank pumping. County requires it every 5 years. Unfunded mandate. I have to dig out the lawn that covers the lid.
Hope this part of the post isn't considered political. It's only about my septic tank.
Yeah that real politics, it’s in the toilet.

I just realized we had the same but every 2 years in the County we lived in. The septic tank was in Terry’s garden and we built around it. Was easy to uncover!

Time for a laugh

The one we have has plastic ... for the lack of another word ... Tunnels coming out with plastic cover. Take cover off and let the sucker suck. Square cement box of which ya don't want to go over it with anything heavy. Usually bare in the winter when all else is snow covered, so we know the biologicals are doing what they are supposed to.

Gonna have to dig up on the input side so I can splice in a line that will go to the new garage. Wife already not happy with the lawn chewing that is gonna happen; oh well, progress I guess.

Afternoon All,

Between me and my adult son we finished up outside so whatever happens, happens. Not my first rodeo since I have been around the ocean my entire adult life. We expect to start seeing storm force winds early tomorrow and hurricane force on Thursday through Friday evening when it goes away. I did manage to mount the 2 PL signals also today. Everything still needs hooked up to the logic board. This is my last post until clear of the storm.

I talked to Phil yesterday and he and Deb will be ready. He lives about 40 minutes driving time NW of me.

Chet- I'm glad the surgery went well. Nice family photos.

Willie- They're called ships 🛳 😂. Interesting museum photos. I believe you have been there before?

Dave- Nice layout shots.

TomO- Happy Birthday 🎂to Terry. Those photos are terrrific and could be real.

Joe- THe other part of the message is only they can save you. Cool photos.

I hope everyone has a good night.

OK, stay safe, and keep your heads down. (just in case).

Snowman: "Heavens to Murgatroyd" was Snagglepuss (Hanna-Barbera instead of Warner Bros.) Sad that I know that...
Nothing sad about it, that is culture! My kind of culture at least, I grew up with those old cartoons.

Cheese steaks, I love em! Got any Land O Lakes American cheese?

I'm old enough to remember when Captain Harvey's did not offer provolone cheese.
Captain Harvey's was a Baltimore landmark famous for its huge Cheese Steak Subs.
Subs, not hoagies, heroes. poor boys or whatever, subs and no provolone cheese!
That was how we did it in southeast Baltimore!

Enjoy your feast!

Where is Terry? I miss him too!
He made an unusual post #942 about a week ago about taking a break from social media until after the election. I didn't think that he meant the Coffee Shop too. He stated "After a couple of recent run-ins on social media", so I don't know whether the controversial removal of posts regarding immigrants had anything to do with that.
