For any fans, Walter Koenig passed away yesterday. He was best known as Pavel Chekov in Star Trek, and Bester, the Psy Cop in Babylon 5
Speaking of Star Trek, I just watched and episode of the Why Files Where AJ Interviews a 95 year young William Shatner. From his history, to his poetry and he recent heavy metal album with Brad Paisley and Brian May, he is a man on fire!
All I can say is Wow!

How many locomotives do you have? Seems like you get 1 a week.
Almost. If the mail delivers this week, then it'll be two, however it may not count since it's a return replacement. I'm waiting for a pre-order from two ponds away that keeps getting pushed back due to the sound decoder deliveries being late. They blame the stuff going on in the gulf, but the decoder manufacturer has always had problems AFAIK.

😃 American piss water.
Be nice ;) I thought of you, I saw a sign on a liquor store "Yingling Lager" I thought "that is an American beer I could offer to the Lokführer. He might even like it 🤪
We already disputed the charges last week to the procedure and overnight stay charges.
Well done! They will take any advantage they can, if you let them.
This is going to be fun because this will invigorate Terry and take her mind off other things.
Go get 'em girl! 😃

I never met you or your wife. But I admire the spirit! Keep an eye on her, watch for fatigue. Money can create too much stress. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Good morning, Everybody!

Willie - I have to tell you. I always thought Brian May was a metal guitarist stuck in a pop/glam want to be hard rock band. I'm no expert, just a fan, a grumpy old headbanger. But I do believe Queen is overrated! I must admit I do like a few Queen songs.

Have a great day Everybody!

I started watching that video. Pretty cool stuff talking about his history and continuing ventures. He's going to live a long time if he keeps going like that. But, had to shut it off after the 3rd advertisement started.

Got in my car, started it up, cleaned the windshield as it had dried up rain all over it, then went through the pre-flight checklist as it had been a while. Did miss the line item to start the camera of all things, but caught that at the first 10 second mark. Drove around the housing area since most folks were away at work and I could go real slow. Not bad going, but had to get back quickly as the wife really didn't want me to drive yet. I do need to air up the tires.

Well, first attempt at lightening up the blue came out looking like stone washed jeans. Too much flat base. Might be good for the other dudes pants that I did earlier.

Are those HO or N scale figures?

If HO, try adding a coat of Army Painter Soft Tone straight. Do that right after you lay down the base colors.

It will settle into the recesses. Do Not let it pool in the recesses, but you want more than just a thin coat.

THEN, once it dries, do a pass of mid-tone highlighting of the base colors, hitting the major raised areas. Then do the drybrush pass with a lighter tone.

Uncle Atom on the TableTop Minions shows a basic beginner technique for using the washes/tones/filters.

NOTE: He's working on larger scale minis.

It's OO scale, about 2 mm bigger. Thanks for the tip!
