Running Bear's October 2026 Coffee Shop

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

The one on the right that looks like my grandmother is Bill Wyman who is 90 today per Willies post. The tall guy in the center is Mick Fleetwood (78), and I don't remember who the guy on the left is.
Ok, I didn't want to insult anyone before I found out.

Just my .02 and this is all in jest. Guy on the left wearing bedroom moccasins kind of looks like a state hospital patient. The guy on the right almost looks like a homeless soul and the tall guy in the back has that IDGAF because the meds are working look.

I know if I get to their age I will won't look that great also.🤠

Got a new Choo Choo in the mail yesterday, will be unboxing and testing it later today. It doesn't fit my layout scheme, but it is a reminder of a very special time. Took me a year to find it, but it is home now. Stay tuned, pics coming.
As I alluded to earlier, my new Choo Choo arrived yesterday, and now it is happily chugging away as only an Alco can. (Rapido FPA-4)
(EMD's sound like a transit bus to me). It doesn't fit the scheme of my railroad, but it was part of our Wedding/honeymoon as we rode the GCRR to our nuptials at the south rim of the canyon. I know who makes GCRR passenger car decals, so eventually I may make up a short GCRR train.

Most importantly, it's MY railroad! :D ;)

Karl, that's a great addition. We try to get a car from whatever railroads we ride.
Slow day at work, I only wound up there for a couple hours. Looks like it will be a quiet night here, gonna get caught up on my Home assignments for my Bible Studies Class, got behind when my back was down. It's much better today, thankfully. Hope you guys all have a good evening.

Good morning all. Another rainy day in paradise. Looks like typhoon 30 is petering out but the system is still heading our way, so rain and some wind. And now we have typhoon 31 coming. Happy happy joy joy.

That earthquake at Vanuatu luckily didn't create any tsunami warnings, luckily.

Will continue to paint my driver and engineer that have been hanging out for a few days. I gave it some paint yesterday, but because the plastic is dark gray, their pants came out too dark. Gave them a coating of light gray primer and hope that helps.

The jungle site will be delivering some N-scale peeps that'll start catching a ride on the Glacier Express, including the chefs and servers. Pics to be posted later.

Have a good one!

George: Looks so much better.

Karl: Great looking ALCO.

Short Wrench: The figures really bring the scenes to life.
