Good Morning All!

42F @ 75% dark.

Ran outa sleep about an hour ago. Been wanting to play with AI and create some images. Was a little leary ( not Timothy, nor his brother really ) but gave it a go. Needed something for my MRR Givens, Druthers and Genesis. What do you think?

I did run Duck.AI out so could not play any more with the Genesis pix; but I guess that it works for me.

Today was hot and humid, different from the past week of cold and dry, which I like better. I was goign to put the dehumidifier away since I am now allowed to pick it up. It must be around 40# with the compressor, etc. Good thing I didn't as I had to fire it up. The house was in the 70% range. Also had to fire up the AC units to cool and dehumidify.

Looks like the rest of the week will be like this with typhoon #30 out there. Unfortunately, the guess is that it will be taking a right turn and heading our way. We've had quite a few come and visit us this year. Would have been better if it had kept on going straight and knock down all that pollution that China is creating.

I guess humidity is subjective. I noticed it wasn't very humid here this morning. 81% outdoors, 78% indoors.

Good morning gang!

45° under clear skies this morning heading to a high of 68°.
After work, I can meet with the plumber again. Hose bib on the back of the house is steady, dripping, in the shut off valve inside the house when you completely close it it starts to leak so he’s replacing both. Empties out the Wallet real fast!

It is currently 94% outside. But yeah, I don't miss the humidity in FL.
When we moved from here to California a couple of decades ago, it was mid-Summer. When we arrived, everybody was complaining about how humid it was. It seemed very comfortable to us, but I went ahead and asked how humid it was. 35%. I started laughing. I think I might have pissed the people off that were complaining...

I am here but not sure I’m awake. I’m fatigued and I medicated for a dry throat before bed this morning. I think a mask will be worn when I’m near Terry today.

Troy, congrats to the wife on the new job

I was told not to bother coming to the hospital before 10am as they will be running tests on Terry this morning. So Uber will pick me up at 9:40am not before per Terry’s orders. She was sore but in good spirits when I left last night.

I’m on my chair under a blanket and will set my alarm. Hopefully a nap is in the offering

Have a great day

Tom,
I'm really glad things have gone well. I know what's it's like to go home alone.

I did the opposite. I went from CA to Miami, in August, to finish up my degree at FIU. I landed a couple of days after hurricane Dennis passed through. I had never experienced humidity, bugs, flat land, etc in my entire life. The only good memories I have about my 2 years there were the women I had and flying out after finals.

Morning all,

Still quiet at the City IT desk. It can stay that way. Got the early morning chores done anyway.

Currently 55° and partly cloudy with showers in the area. High later in the low 70's.

TomO: Sounds like Terry is doing well. Hope she continues to do so!

I'm glad to hear good news about Terry. Hoping for a full recovery. Too many members in the hospital around here lately. I guess it goes with the territory at our age(es).

46°F out there this morning. Didn't feel quite that cool but I guess I'm starting to get used to it in the early morning. Expecting 72°F today. Nothing happening here today. Might spend a little time outside later so Willow can get some exercise and me some sunshine.

Have a safe Tuesday.

Servus!

Good Morning All. Clear and 54°, upper-70's later today. If the NWS is to be believed, we're into our fall weather pattern, upper-70's to lower-80's for daytime highs, with mid to lower-50's at night. On and off cloudiness but no rain in the 10-day forecast.

Tom O - Continued prayers and best wishes for Terry and you.

Normal fall day around here yesterday. Same boring chores. I did use the last of the frozen Corned Beef Briskets from the freezer yesterday, so that was a nice touch. We'll get another supper and at least two lunchtime sandwiches out of it in the coming week.

Medical appointment this morning at 10 with my PCP. Rest of the day will bring what it will bring without any plans.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I continued with the laser-cut wood structure build with the first deviation. Kit calls for rolled-roofing on this building, but I have chosen to go with an antique Campbell shingle roofing kit.

These shingles have a gummed backing, but my previous experience with this type of product has not been good, and besides, these are over 25 years old! I am also hesitant to use too much water on a cardstock roof to begin with. Yesterday, I got all of the strips cut (roughly) and the first five rows glued on with Aleene's Tacky Glue.

It's a slow process but the end results will be worth it.

Patrick - Life with a cardiologist begins. Best wishes.

Ric Lee, longtime drummer for Ten Years After during their heyday, is 81 today. The late Tom Petty was born on this day in 1950.

Everybody have a great Tuesday.

The last couple of updates I've gotten from Firefox turned on stuff I had previously turned off. Also, Firefox has added some new "features" like sponsored ads. You have to go into the settings and turn things back to where you had them, and turn the additional "features" off. You may have to spend some time searching those things out, because Firefox has moved things around, and placed other things in categories you wouldn't expect to have to look.
Yeah, everyone is moving things around and altering settings without notice. I actually got an e-mail from Mozilla, advising me of changes. Actually the Firefox Phone app is much worse than the Win PC.

I don’t even bother with another browser on my phone. Because Apple mobile devices have to comply with their walled garden, all the other browsers look and work nearly the same as the included Safari. I have Firefox and Opera on it, but only use one of them if there’s an issue, and support wants me to try another browser to see if it’s a browser issue.

Hood morning all!

Another beautiful fall day today. Currently a sunny 56F. High for today will reach 71F Too bad I don't have ant outside work to do today. Looks
like a great stretch all thru the weekend.

Already have laundry rolling and house picked up. I see as I'm typing this the recycle truck is outside so I will head out after this and retrieve both
bins.

We do have a volleyball game tonight. It is at home so a 5 minute commute each way.

Not much else going on!

Have a safe day everyone!
