Good morning, Coffee Shop!
It's Sunday, 34°F (1.1°C) and mostly clear in Tipton.

Do you have Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, or any other service? If not, then how about YouTube. You can demo albums to see if you like them before shelling out the goods on a CD.

I understand the desire to own your music, but a demo of an album before shelling out the goods will let you know if you like it first.
That's way to methodical for my "Fly by night" brain

it's run by squirrels, hopped up on caffeine, in a shiny bauble factory, with a truck load of acorns dumped across the middle of the production floor.

Besides, I liked all their albums from Moving Pictures onward. It's the transistion phase from metal to prog that seems to have the most issues. but I'd still get them.

In the publishing world, we call the process of purchasing like this, One-clicks. See a product from beloved artist and you one click it on (vendor platform of choice). That's me. None of the albums I've purchased are likely to be returned. But the skip button may get pressed once or twice on each cd.

This will be my first cold morning 3 mile walk with Murphy this morning. It's 32 degrees here. I haven't walked in any cold weather with him yet. I'll have to see how it goes. I'm 80 years old and don't like the cold weather that much anymore. I gave up ice fishing years ago. Swal

Well, it seems that b1tching about the jungle site and trying to cancel the order works like USPS. The paint showed up just now. Last time I checked, Oct 18 isn't Oct 20-22... Vewwy stwwange!
Dealing with the jungle site now.
Last Sunday, I spoke to them via chat about a Kindle that I'd had a week, and the battery goes dead after 3.5 hours, instead of "weeks" as advertised. They made the return as inconvenient as possible, including forcing me to go to a UPS facility during UPS' regular hours of Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00, buying a box, printing a return label, and paying $7.99 return shipping fee. After a lengthy chat, they decided to refund the purchase amount, and I could toss the thing in the trash. I'm glad I didn't...
I've been waiting to see the credit on my statement. Waiting... Waiting... Chatted again today. They didn't know why I was promised such a thing, but if I want a refund, I have to do what they said. So, take a day off work to drive 15 miles to UPS, buy a box, and pay $7.99 to ship it back, and lose much more than the price of the Kindle in lost wages, or keep it, suck it up, and never buy anything like that from them again. It's not like it was a third-party vendor, it was the company itself. And they're making the return so inconvenient they are obviously hoping I say "the hell with it" and keep it.

Good morning from Wisconsin. It’s 38f degrees now feeling like 28 heading to 65 around 3pm. Sunrise is at 7:15. So while it’s a twilight now and the sky looks cloudy, the guess called the forecast says sunny all day.

The grandson has soccer at 2. His team continues to roll 16-2-2 in this Fall season league. 6 more games to finish after today

The #2 Badger Hockey women won 12-1 on Campus yesterday. I thought they were sleep skating Friday night, not yesterday! Right from the start they dominated with speed and pressure, fun game, even though #1 Ohio State lost to #3 Minnesota I believe the rankings will stay the same

The plan is to finish off the weathering on 1 commissioned paper mill structure today.

So who called him out on it? I went through January, part of Feb, then found his last post in March. I didn't see any thing. Was it on a different forum?

I don't remember who it was but he wasn't around long. His posts might be between January and February's Coffee Shop. Maybe even later. ???

Good morning folks. 37°F chilly degrees this morning. No wind and I do think I saw some frost on the neighbor's yard that is a bit lower in elevation than mine. It was hard to tell though.

Had to bundle up to take Willow out this morning. First time I've worn my Winter loden wool coat this season and a watch cap. Furnace is running this morning too. I have to get furnace filters this week as the last one I had is still in it from the end of last season. I'm glad I fixed that window yesterday or the cold air would really be spilling in.

Have a great Sunday!

Servus!

They didn't know why I was promised such a thing,
I never had an issue with that before. The chat should have shown or can show the past history, if I remember correctly. If that's what they promised, then that's what they should have delivered. I would have held them to that. But, for future, if it sounds too good, I screen shoot the chat.

Good Morning All. Mostly clear and 49° this morning. Forecast has changed slightly and it should get into the lower-70's today after just 65° yesterday. Beautiful day though with minimal wind either day. Gradual warmup into the low-80's by Thursday. No rain in sight yet. Still haven't made the move to jeans yet, maybe mid-December

Yesterday was mainly a domestic day, with dishwasher, laundry and trash removal, dumpster, burn trash and composting. After the dew dried, it was weedeating and light mowing.
Today starts with Mass and then bed-linen laundry. I'll probably do some more firewood sorting since today will be a nice one.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I continued with my build of the laser-cut wood structure #1. I'll take some progress pictures today.

Tom O -
I feel a bit out of touch with the gun owners here.
That could be an understatement!
Continued prayers for Terry.
Swal - Yes, Bob's still around. He posted quite a bit a couple of weeks ago on several threads regarding the forum issues, which he seemed to have resolved.
Michael - RE: David (the other one) was a regular poster until March when the trans-Pacific voyage was slated to start. As I posted, I had known for a while that many of his posted pictures were not his nor were properly attributed. Whether the trips, both cruises and overland train trips were real or not, I never knew.

Chuck Berry was born on this day 100 years ago. Seems like a long time. The late songwriter Cynthia Weil, ("We Got Get Out Of This Place"; "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'"; "On Broadway"; "He's So Shy"); was born on this day in 1940. Bassist for Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys, Billy Cox is 85 today. Association singer/guitarist Russ Giguere, is 83 today.

Everybody have a pleasant Sunday.
