It's troy again. fully clothed.

Had a good day running the demo game at the local game con.

Here's me on the convention's video from the game floor. The little round table, and I'm facing the camera.

Made arrangements with the convention to return next year and run two tourneys of the game I'm demoing, and it's big brother.

I'm about to pop it in and listen. We'll see if Geddy is still screaming like a metal-head or if he's transitioning more to the prog singer he became.

That is exactly what he was doing. I found a bunch of his photos all over the internet from travel brochures, ship interior designs, tourist photos, etc. The other guy called him out on it.

Rush. A Farewell to Kings was my first Rush album. I used to wake up to it every morning in the mid 90s.

I believe he stopped posting when a new poster came on, temporarily, and referenced all the periodicals that David was supposedly copying his pictures from.

I was aware that he was posting pictures that weren't his, but didn't realize that he was using them to misrepresent his voyages; if that's the case.

I guess I never realized that. So people are saying all his trips are fake? That is a pretty strong accusation without proof. I liked his stories and never questioned his photos. I guess I’m naive. If he was called out on it and now he’s gone from here and his MRH thread maybe it was true. I also hope he and Dawn are well

A ground plug is not common

Here's a pic of what Chad was talking about. Even though mine is 3 prong, the 2 prong outlets in the kitchen and laundry room have a ground connection. It is a screw terminal that a washer, dryer, or kitchen appliance like a microwave oven can be grounded to. This ground terminal is not normally available elsewhere in the house. I have found that grounding a microwave oven is important as the metal grate in the door helps to shield the EMF. I measured one with and without the ground.

My 3 prong outlets are also polarized to permit the larger blade to fit. It is a real pain in the axx when you live in both worlds like I do and the plug won't fit in the socket. I made sure to cover both bases when I had the house spec'd.

Good evening folks, good day at work today, expected last minute rush buyers for Deer Season today. Expected whining about we didn't have what they wanted and hadn't bothered to check if it was even available. The scheduled silencers didn't arrive this week as expected, so more whining about that too. Got home, leftover pizza and a nap. My Missus got home from a great,great nephew's first birthday party a bit ago and we are relaxing right now.

My 3 prong outlets are also polarized to permit the larger blade to fit. It is a real pain in the axx when you live in both worlds like I do and the plug won't fit in the socket. I made sure to cover both bases when I had the house spec'd.

For the record most newer houses (probably last several decades) with two prong outlets that I have seen are polarized. (At least the prongs are set up as polarized). But really old apartments / houses have non polarized plugs and it's a PITA when your plug is polarized.

This is what I use in Japan to convert my 3 prong plugs to two prongs. The ground just slides underneath. (This is for things like laptops and other small appliances -- not things like microwaves and heavy appliances).

Do you have Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, or any other service? If not, then how about YouTube. You can demo albums to see if you like them before shelling out the goods on a CD.

I understand the desire to own your music, but a demo of an album before shelling out the goods will let you know if you like it first.

That's what I do. I used to listen on the jungle site, but they demand that you use their app or be a prime member (can't remember which anymore) and won't let me hear what I want to buy. Oh, and they won't let me purchase mp3s anymore since I don't have a US address. Pretty retarded if they think that US citizens all live only in the US and that there are no other ways to get music.

And speaking of the jungle site, I ordered some fertilizer yesterday. I clicked on reorder on one of them and proceeded to check out. It's a good thing I double-checked the order as they did an unauthorized switch on me. The only reason I noticed it is because the box was white vice being cardboard like the others. I went back and found that the item was not in stock and instead of alerting me to it, they tried to have me buy something I did not want. What crooks.

I.m pretty sure most of mine are polarized. I've gotten them at Yodobashi Camera as well as at convenience stores.

I also have several Japanese extension cords / power strips and they're all polarized. I brought several home to use with wall warts and other 2 prong things.

Oh, forgot to add (since I am on a role) that I have another unneeded paint coming as well. I search for something, I get everything else that I don't need, and they hope that I don't notice. Well, I didn't notice, especially since they put it in Japanese, when I have my preferences set to English. Anyway, I have enamel paint coming that I don't want to use since it requires thinner to clean the brush. I use acrylic. When I ordered it, it said that it won't be arriving until 20-22 Oct. So, when I found the mistake, I tried to cancel the item and ordered the acrylic. I get an email stating that I can't cancel and when I checked the status, they showed that it had already shipped, coming from Osaka. So I add another enamel to my collection.
