Kind of sad about Ruger ditching most of their iconic firearms. 10/22 and Mini-14 are staying. The Mini-14 is one that I find interesting is staying. I have not seen one in the wild for decades and I wouldn't think they'd sell many with all the other more popular semi-auto 223 style rifles on the market.
Happy Belated Anniversary Karl.

Sad about Rugers revolvers, I had my eye on a couple of them. As for the Mini 14 great rifle for 5.56 and .223. I have an older one and will be getting a newer one soon. The 10/22's are another great product from Ruger. Seems everyone I know that is a hunter has one or more.

Good afternoon. My nap lasted maybe 20 minutes and Terry’s driving me crazy. She is so antsy that I told her to relax and it was not a smart thing to say on my part. She didn’t yell but I got the stare! She’s now cleaned the house twice doing everything but vacuuming to ease her mind and keep busy! We have a cleaning service on Thursday so we both know the place is clean. If she does the refrigerator one more time today the stainless steel finish maybe be rubbed out.

So I said get your nails done! Nice hubby right? Nope, “what’s wrong with my nails”. But then said “sure” so I took her to get her nails done dropping her off then drove to the LHS to kill time and emptied my credit card. Got in the car and now am I sitting waiting for her and realize my purchases in the LHS was totally NOTHING I needed.

We hadn’t given our tickets away to hockey on campus tonight so we have that to look forward to. Totally seeingbavside of my partner I’ve not seen before.

Thanks for listening

It is so easy for a wife to take what a husband has said the wrong way. Sometimes no matter what you say or how you say it, it's going to be wrong.

BTDT x2. You can't win ever and the game is rigged in their favor.

Another shooting. When did the rules change? I must have been sleeping that day, for I surely missed it. What I remember was if having an issue with a classmate, we would meet after school and had a knock down drag out fist fight. The thought of getting a gun never entered anyone's mind. Today they seem to either bring a firearm to school or run out to the parking lot and get one from their car. As to cars, when did it change from laying on your horn and shooting the finger, to pulling alongside and shooting into a car or truck, not caring if there are young kids in the backseat. I'm not against guns, I own a couple three. I have a concealed carry license. What I don't understand is today's mentality of going for a gun instantly. He cut me off, he disrespected me, that was my parking space, teacher failed me, that kid made ignored me, she's my girl. Excuses, really?
My prayers go out to the folk's in Bend, Oregon. I know how they feel, for I live in Santa Fe, Texas and we had a mass shooting costing 10 young lives.

STAY SAFE
LATER
I think the gaming has a lot of influence on our younger generation but nobody looks into it.

New problem today. I wanted to print the dog ad sign and glue it to the sign frame I made, but the printer will not print 2 colors. The printer head cleaning process will not do the job because the print heads are not drawing in any ink. It's clogged somewhere in the line. I have to manually take out the print heads supply for 2 colors and you a syringe to pull the ink in and hope that will fix the problem. First, I have to go downtown and buy a syringe. Murphy says O good where're going for a ride in the car.

I got the yellow color working, but it doesn't print blue yet. I'm not sure why I pulled blue ink through the line with the syringe, so the blue line isn't clogged, unless the print head is completely clogged up.

Unless I buy some kind of solvent to clear the print head, I'm thinking about fooling the printer by switching the blue and red lines and changing the graphics colors so in reality when it's printing red it's actually print green. That might work for at least this project. Swal

made for rough handling
That's my thought as well. Those fine details look great, but not if they are on the floor.

The UK has a brand named Accurascale and true to their name, they pride themselves on a very high level of detail. So much so, that their side rods are very thin and don't have any slop built in, or a joint. If a wheel goes 1 degree out of quarter, it binds up. Top that off with plastic inserts between the axle and hub, and it goes out of quarter easily.

I hate taking it apart to fix the quarter issue because it ends up having less parts on it than when I started.

Yeah, she's really stressing. Hope the wait isn't too much longer.

This is the face of Evil. From the article, "At the time, she told NewsChannel 21 that her son, then 10, had special needs and was struggling with remote learning while confined to the family home."
She knew this and still had a gun in her house that was accessible to him. She should be thrown in jail or be given to the folks who lost their loved ones. Japan doesn't take care of their psychos either. We get the call to go pick up the kids if a known weirdo is hanging around.

Good evening folks, only got up to 57 here today, supposed to reach a balmy 64 tomorrow. Had the day off from the gunstore today, but will be working tomorrow. It will be curious to see how it will turn out, it's first day of Alternate Deer Season, so we will see how many panic hunters show up.
Anyway today got the new desk/work bench assembled and out to the porch/train room. Looks nice and will be good to have an actual dedicated work space.

It's Saturday, 42°F (5.5°C) and clear in Tipton.
Have a great day! ;)

I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell-you see, I have friends in both places.

Well, howdy there internet peeps

It's troy again.

As a reminder to Flo and Francine: I like my eggs in a pancake mix. If it comes with eggs on the side, scrap those and add an extra flapjack to the stack instead.

As for political funnies.... or funnies about politicians... for everyone that the red side posts, the blue side has just as many (reminder, in Canada, the party colors are flipped. Carney is "red" and Pierre P is "blue" - so it hold true there as well)

A lot of what I could post on a daily basis would have one side, sometimes both, spitting mad, and Terry would ban me if I tried. Best not to open that can of worms...

Well, it would be more a can of angry bees. Worms just kinda wiggle. Angry bees are an entirely different matter. Don't open their can. ;)

I'm about to start printing off "cheat sheets" for the new game I'm demoing today.

And making a couple of lists, printing their cards, and laminating it all.

I expect to run 1 maybe two demos today, but it is one of two checkmarks I need for the month.
I run two events, even a casual come and play day at the local store, and I get the month's big checkmark. Each month gets me $50USD credit from the game company's store.

I can use that toward models for demo armies, prizes for local tourneys, etc. And the game company keeps producing models, and new armies. I mean, there's always something to spend the credit on.

My first attempt at painting OO scale dudes. Did a lot of searching on line to see what colors they wore back in the late 1800's in the UK. The closest I could get with the paints that I have. I did order some different colors, but they won't be here for a few days.

I only noticed what looks like a tie on the fireman. Since I can't see it even with my magnifier, I am not going to see it when he's stuck inside that tight cab. They'll get some dull coat tomorrow. Maybe rub some charcoal dust on them first.
