Not surprised. I prefer the route down the Delmarva Peninsula, which is well out of your way. But we came home via I-95 last time, and it was pretty bad from Fredericksburg to the Wilson Bridge. I suppose Virginians love self torture. No other way to explain it. The short ride from the Bridge Tunnel to Hwy 17 is over crowded, poorly signed, and has tolls.

Wow. That's a lot for a cut up gun.

I bought a few L1A1 and a metric FAL kit in the distant past. Nothing that expensive.

It would be cool to have one of these kits.
 
Made it to bed at a reasonable time. Even read for a while. Asleep about 9:30ish.

Woke at 11p and 2a for pee runs. Woke again at 2:59 with a weather headache. Checked with Weather Underground site, and yep, the barometric is rising.

So, I think I need a cookie and a diet DrP for some caffeine to offset the headache.

Must be something in the air! I went to bed around the same time and awoke at 1:45am, Tried tossing and turning for a half hour with no luck. Made a pot of coffee and here I am.

At least the house is quiet since I'm the only one up. The dog hasn't even came out to join me.

Good morning all!

A cool, breezy cloudy morning with temps sitting at 62F. High for today is only forecasted to hit 66F. Had some rain overnight but has since moved out of the area. should remain cloudy but dry the rest of the day.

A couple loads of laundry and general house pick-up this morning is all that's planned,

My daughter has decided to take part this year in the Rotary exchange program. She wanted to last year as a freshman but decided she wasn't ready. She is hoping to go to Greece on the summer short term program. She would be paired with another student from that country and they would spend a month with us, and she would travel and spend a month with the student and their family in their country. We started filling out the mound of application forms last night.

Due to being up so early and not being able to go back to sleep a nap will be on the agenda this afternoon!
