that’s a hard call……I have some old German tanks that are old plastic models and they will be repainted to Cdn flags. Mainly because mine is a Cdn waterfront layout
Sure it's German, I think that's a British Tank Destroyer, the FV21BGood morning all. A day of showers, so not going far. In fact it is time I got back into the train room.

Youngest grandson 'bought me' the tank (on the left). A little overscale, (who cares) but travels well on the layout.

I've already posted what it is. M109 self propelled howitzer.
Sorry, must have missed your post.I've already posted what it is. M109 self propelled howitzer.
all good. No offense taken!Sorry, must have missed your post.
CURT - Who the hell said anything about giving them back?Sherrel- I would think fostering would be hard emotionally. It's easy to become attached to the animals, then you give them up.
Yes I do every minute with them both. Funny thing ever since they both were born I would leave every morning to drive the tractor trailer in the wee hours long before they got up for school. Now they leave for work about a hour before (6:30) I have to leave to go to work at my job it’s weird to me but I’m adjusting to it. Thanks for the advice.Treasure every moment. You cannot get it back.
Willie thanks. No I drive it for a very small local company best move I’ve made in about 30 years.Lee - Nice looking truck. Do you own it or is a company truck?
Curt now I’m having second thoughts about painting the inside walls this winter. I just wanted to spruce them up they could go longer but I think I might wait. Who knows it may be $75 then lol.gallon of middle grade paint was $58
Sorry to hear of Sophie's passing. Our Little Sophie passed peacefully away in her sleep last night. Thank you, God for our Sophie. Sophie was our precious little girl.

37’ and darkness on the water is not for me. I believe the heart rate was up last nightTomO - That makes two of us. I don't recall how large the boat is that you were talking about; however, at night, I'm not comfortable with being on anything of less size than an Aircraft Carrier!
My son had a 36 foot sailboat off of Marina Del Rey and I was on it a few times. One late afternoon/night we headed to Catalina and the last 15 miles, thereabouts, was very foggy and dark.
I was not a relaxed deckhand!
Are the Fall colors alive in Michigan yet, or is it a little too early yet?Louis, sorry to read about Sophie.
Being on a boat at night is tough for me. Sleeping on the boat dockside is ok.
Being in the backseat of MY car while Ms. Speed Demon drives all the while talking to her best friend in the front passenger seat is downright scary. Being on Chicago EXpressways just made it even worst!
I read online coming into Michigan about the House voting. What a joke but unfortunately it’s on US.
I read where Curt’s kid has different views than those he was staying with. We have that here. While I try to be a fiscal conservative Terry is a bleeding heart liberal. The 2 folks we are staying with have pulled a 180 from last year when we last saw them. Dinner was not fun! They really feel because Terry has some money she should not have liberal leanings! Why do people continue to talk about stuff that other people at the table are asking them not to. At work you never talked about sex, money or politics! Same with friends
Trains, I finished up another Scaletrains bulkhead flat and another (#11this year) Atlas Center Partition car. Very nice cars but also very very light.
There is no TV in this house which normally for me is great. But, I wouldn’t mind the distraction of baseball tonight. The internet is not strong enough for me to stream the game so I will do some reading tonight. The plan is another night here but hopefully I can convince Terry to leave in the afternoon. It’s 9:20 in Michigan and the couple we are visiting go to bed at 9. The quiet is nice. Terry has been talking to our daughter.
have a great night
Tom: It's a issue that happens all the time. I'm becoming more socially conservative, financially liberal. which is a change from what i used to be. The wife, is socially liberal, fiscally conservative...we do discuss issues, but neither of us tries to force our views on the other. My sons, I'm not sure where they are, and I like it that way. I am very uncomfortable discussing politics, religion, or finance with others. I really don't need to know what others think. We live in a pluralistic society, with many different people having many different beliefs and ideas. We all need to respect others and their beliefs...Why do people continue to talk about stuff that other people at the table are asking them not to. At work you never talked about sex, money or politics! Same with friends
