Willie: Good catch on the Racoon Lodge raiding party. Unfortunately, they tend to hang out. Ramone's looks awesome.

TomO: Great cartoon(s). Captain Weems seems to forget rail cars don't have retractable wheels.

Terry: "Newsed" car...At least the payments are affordable. I do feel your pain.

Meanwhile, on the Pennsy side of the Schuyl Kill, two BS24s shift industry in Birdsboro, PA in the 1950s. Looks like it's time for the weed burner to make its appearance on the branch. The Reading and the PRR frequently paralleled each other in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Afternoon All,

We were really busy this weekend so I just kind of hovered on the site. Going out to Dad's tomorrow to continue work with son's help. I believe that we have a charity coming out to the house Thursday to pick up the last of the inside furniture . Still have more to do but the end is in sight finally. We went to Costco earlier so I have no desire to do anything. This morning was 61 F when I got up. I loved that.

Mikey- Nice job on the trailer.

Chad- This is probably a stupid question but does the concrete get poured in between the 2 foam walls? If so after drying is the foam removed or left as insulation?

Karl- Nice pictures. Congrats on #4 son.

Mikey - I don't always crop out my fingers in photos, but I am reminded of the story that I read recently about the FBI finally tracking down someone that they wanted; when they were able to lift a fingerprint pattern from a Twitter photo where he was showing off some ill-gotten gains.
Nice work on the trailer.

Willie- now, the digital fingerprints is as good a reason as any for me to crop out my fingers from pictures.

Attending our Fall pastor Conference in Mankato today and tomorrow. Was just going to commute, but "spousal unit" [as I have heard someone say] urged me to stay over the night. She has a Marriot credit card and gets a free night stay every year. So I am using it. Conference has been good so far. Stopped after checking in and bought a bottle of Scotch at a package store and a fried chicken dinner at a grocery store along with a big bottle of sparkling water. After checking in here, going to run some playtest games for a wargame company I am privileged to participate with. And then to bed.

Oh, you mean a computer game! I thought you meant a tabletop wargame with models. I used to play Warhammer 40k before I was a model railroader. Thankfully I learned a lot of my modeling skills on those bigger pieces before I moved to 1:87



You using your naval experience for a game makes me think of a recent sort of scandal, where some actual tank commander or tank crew has leaked some classified info to the developers of War Thunder because he didn't agree with some inaccuracies in the game!

Willie, Sunday's Cowboys game is a perfect example of why I watch NFL games. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama and unpredictable events. Not to mention "free football" (over time). I was not aware of the touchdown record, but I'm not surprised. Tom Landry was well known for his defensive innovations. He was as equally innovative on the offensive side of the ball. With the exception of a few seasons the Cowboys have always been competitive. As a long time fan of the Washington football team I love to route against the Cowboys, but I do have much respect for the franchise.
