Good Morning All. Clear and 69°, into the upper 50's tonight after an afternoon high around 90°. Supposed to reach down into the upper 40's by next weekend. I have my firewood supply totally ready, however I do need to sweep the chimney.
Well, I managed to elude a couple of household tasks yesterday, my daughter volunteered to come up today and mop the kitchen and clean the bathrooms, or rather my wife talked her into it. I had nothing to do with it. I am not trusted with either task for some reason. Grandsons will probably come with her while my SIL plays golf.
No real change in my wife's condition except she's only taking a half of a Hydrocodone pill at a time now. There won't be any change until after the infection clears up and the newer replacement knee is installed. Staci, the home health care nurse will be back tomorrow after her visit Friday. Starting next week, it will be a Monday/Thursday schedule for her visits. The antibiotic infusions are proceeding without any issues. I don't know where all of the infusion liquid is going? Between the multiple saline solutions, two antibiotic solutions and something else, we're adding about a pint and a half of fluid twice a day into her vein!

Staci only removed about 1/4 pint of blood Friday to make room.
Thanks for the likes and comments regarding the progress photos yesterday;
Jaz, Christian, Tom O, Hughie, Sherrel, Garry.
I'll take the Sunday Special this morning Flo, ham and cheese biscuits with scrambled eggs. I'll switch to grape juice today for variety.
Despite having shed two chores yesterday, time in the train shed was still limited. I did continue to decorate crates and other details, making good progress with four additional colors. However no pictures yet. I ended up completely covering the paint overrun that I showed yesterday and also painted the foundation of that wall with Polly Scale Aged Concrete. Probably a moot point since it will be covered by the loading dock eventually. I did a better job on the second side wall and it's not quite as heavy of a red coat.
Since I will be doing some heavy weathering, I don't think that I will need to redo the first wall. Pretty much depends on the other two walls.
A look at the loading docks roughly in place. For the final planting of the model, they will move closer to the backdrop giving more room on the track side.
Things are going much slower on this build than my normal pace, but I am looking forward to each step just the same.
Meanwhile I took some pictures of one of my favorite Bar Mills kits, Earl's Oil.
Greg - Down here in oil country, the states of TX, OK and LA are not adverse to pipelines so that's how our oil and natural gas flows. Safer than tankers. However we get a lot of unit tank trains of Ethanol headed from the Midwest towards the refineries near Houston, West Texas and the Gulf Coast, for blending into gasoline.
I have a reel of EZ Wire that I intend to put to use at some future time.
Mikey - I need a revival tent somewhere on the layout! Thanks for the idea.
Everybody enjoy this great Sunday. Stay safe. By the way, today is Pastor Appreciation Day. Throw a bit extra into the collection basket for Steve J and his buddies!
