Happy belated birthday Louis, may God bless.
Had a couple of great days here in Branson, Uncle Kevin is getting lots of hugs, my littlest G'niece Emmie is slowly getting used to me, it always takes a bit for them to get used to me. My wife says it's because I'm big and have a gruff voice, but once they get used to me I can't get rid of them! According to two of them, Uncle Kevin is very good to take a nap on! Gas was 3.79 yesterday and once we got here2 of 3 nephews and families arrived and the third arrived today. Kids have been in the pool a lot and tomorrow taking them go-karting. I did get to hit a nice train store here and found a Kto Train Shed and some styrene sheeting I needed.
Anyway, you guys have a good one.
PS: @troyphoto next time you are in Menards check out their line of HO MRR stuff, they have a M&M UFO set that is hysterical!

Looking at the different variations reminded me I have a Coke-a Cola hotdog steamer I don't use. I guess it is just easier to say to my wife "Honey I want some hotdogs" I am so spoiled.
I missed this, guy. But as the rest already said: Glad you made it one more year!
Thank you! And don't worry, I doubt anyone misses as much as I do.
The final coup de gras came when my 3 little monsters stood in their front yard and sang the "Kyles mom is a b__ch song" from Southpark at the top of their lungs.
I would have bought a ticket for that and given them a standing ovation!

Good morning Coffee Shop! It's Saturday, 61°F (16°C) and partly cloudy.

USPS strikes again.
I ordered a speaker a week and a half ago. It's supposed to be here today, but has been hanging out in Atlanta since Wednesday, where tracking shows it still sitting. I could have gotten it from my LHS, but I think it would have cost more in gas for the 100 miles round trip than the $5 shipping. Of course, if it never gets here, I'll still have to drive to the LHS, and try to get a refund from the online store.

Good Morning All. Clear and 69° on my back porch. High today in the lower 90's, ,however there will be some breeze today which was absent yesterday.

Wasn't sure that I was going to get through the door this morning, could be all of the guests!
"Total: 16,623 (members: 7, guests: 16,616)"
Pictures from yesterday's posts are not showing up and I also get this message:
An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.

Daughter #2 brought the granddog up yesterday, for a week's retreat on the farm. She and family are off to Italy today to visit grandson #1, who's attending school over there right now. He and his buds are heading up to Switzerland today, but will be back tomorrow when his parents and brother land. He has been really impressed with the trains over in Europe, he and his buds have been taking them everywhere, except the airplane hop over to Greece 2 weekends ago.
The usual household chores like laundry yesterday, but most of the day was outside tending to the pool or working in the garden. I should be spending more time mowing right now, but I really want to get all of the debris out of the pool first. Water temperature is perfect at 82°. That ripped pool cover this past winter has really set me back. Yesterday was the first full day that I spent on it, as the doctor visit and grocery trek the previous 2 days limited my time.

More of the same today, although I plan to pressure-can some of the Green Bean crop. I picked over 20# in the last 3 days and it takes a lot of room in the fridge!

I was out in the train shed yesterday for a brief time and took some pictures of my progress, but they won't upload to this site today.

Louis -
Willie I would much rather come have a cold Heineken with you in your train shed.
Come by any time. Always cold and always available.

I'm going to end this post now due to the incessant malfunctioning of the forum. Oooops! Forget it, forum won't take this reply.

Everyone have a great and safe Saturday.

Good morning all!

Another beautiful day weather wise today. Currently a sunny 74F with the expected high of 84F. No rain chances today
according to the guessers.

Only thing planned for today is usual Saturday morning stuff like laundry, car fill-ups, grocery run, mowing, etc......

Have a safe day everyone!

Well howdy there internet hot dogs!

It's Troy again.

Had a fun morning of teaching the game I play to a newbie:

There were people waiting for the table, and it was demo game, so we called it at the bottom of turn four and let them have the table.

Wife is fighting a battle I don't envy. Looks like she's got arthritis in her hands. Ever since our cruise back in March, her hands have been swelling. First it was just her right hand. Then joint pain set in. She - being medical lab tech - starts researching. Must be osteo arthritis since it's not mirrored into both hands. guess what??? It's in both hands. Not exactly the same, but both sides. She's not fatigued or running a fever, so is it Rhuemetoid arthritis? Lupus? Something else?

She had a telehealth with a physical therapist that our health plan covers. Instant recommendation to call her Primary Care, and also to see a Nurse Practitioner via Telehealth since the PC is going to take a month to get in to see.

As for the layout: I'm printing the Midnight Abbey with my 3D printer. One section at a time.

And I have to print it at 70% of size since this is HO scale, and the STL is 1:56 scale (or a tad bigger) since it's designed to be a playable gaming piece for use with games like Dungeons and Dragons.

Only 40+ pieces yet to print. Below is just the first floor. Door lintels and doors are each separate pieces, and the doors are designed to swing open.

Good afternoon. The site has been goofy for me since around 11 last night. Was able to read this morning but I couldn’t like or post!

Breakfast out at a favorite place that now only serves its breakfast menu before noon on Saturday and Sunday. 4 blocks from the Farmers Market around the Capital Square we were a bit worried at 10am about the crowds. When git there at 10 maybe 6 tables had people. When we left at 11:15 outside and inside tables were filled and the wait I heard was 20 minutes. Not quite as good as it used to be with maybe 1/2 the old menu. My favorite here has always been the Shrimp and Andouille sausage omlette. It is no longer served!

Afterwards we hit a different farmers. Market about 10 miles west of downtown. Terry got her rhubarb and spinach!

It’s a nice 74f degrees but the winds are single digits but gusting to 24mph!

Enjoy the day

I've documented this several times now, so I know it's true (just trust me).

I weigh myself carefully before I come in here...and again after I leave. And I gain two pounds every time.
Every time I look at one of Bill Tidler Jr's. pics. :p:cool::p

[where's my drooling emoji when I need it?]
